What sorts of repairs do you do?
The most common faults are broken laptop screens and virus or malware infections but we can tackle almost any hardware problem if the machine is not too old to obtain parts. Our engineers are fully trained in hardware repair and we get a lot of practice!
My hard drive is full, can you help?
We can generally replace the full drive with a larger one, migrating all your data and settings so that when you get your machine back it runs exactly the same – only better.
My hard-drive has failed, can you recover it?
It depends. Most of the time we can recover most of the data on a failed drive, however sometimes the damage is too great and we can only save elements of it. We always recommend that you backup your computer regularly and we have an online backup product you can use if you want it to be automatic and hassle free.
My computer has got very slow, can that be fixed too?
Over time we install software and browser plug-ins that can have a “drag” effect on our computers. Each piece of software has a tiny effect but that accumulates. We can do a clean up and reset that should recover all your lost computer performance and at the same time we will check for malware and viruses that can also make things slow.
